Congratulations to GCSE students in Nottinghamshire
For pupils across the country the wait is over as they receive their GCSE results today, Thursday, 20 August.
Nottinghamshire County Council is congratulating students on their results. Councillor Simon Wright, Cabinet Member for Education and SEND, said: “Congratulations to all of the GCSE students across Nottinghamshire.
“You should be incredibly proud of your hard work and commitment getting to today.
“Whatever your results might be, there is plenty of help available to help you progress with your learning or enter the world of work. I wish you all the best for your next steps.”
Nottinghamshire students have several options available for furthering their skills, such as post-16, college or apprenticeships. The National Careers Service exam results helpline is available by calling 0800 100 900 to help guide and inform these choices. The service highlights an array of education and training opportunities available to young people, including traineeships, A Levels, T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).
